Jodie Anne has been a middle school teacher in Las Vegas for 12 years. Jodie's passion for education is equal to her lifelong interest in visual arts and the limitless possibilities of writing. She wrote her first poem when she was nine years old. She continued to write because she found it enjoyable. When Jodie struggles to find words due to CPTSD, depression, and anxiety, she turns to multi-media art for emotional release and expression. Jodie is particularly fascinated by life's layers and textures.
